The Lee County Sheriff's Office is currently on the scene of a shooting incident at 1340 Sumter Hwy Bishopville SC (PIlot Truck Stop). A female victim was found deceased inside of a vehicle with what Investigators believe to be gunshot wounds. One person has been detained is being questioned by Law Enforcement. There is no continued threat to the public at this time. The Lee County Sheriff's Office has requested assistance from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) in processing the crime scene. Law Enforcement will be on the scene for an extended period of time and Citizens are asked to avoid the area of possible. The identify of the victim is not being released at this time until notification of next of kin.
