On March 17, 2025 Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested Jerome Raeshard Lowery (age 32) of Dalzell for Grand Larceny and Receiving Stolen Goods. Lowery is accused of stealing a utility trailer on March 17 and then attempting to sell the trailer on Facebook Market Place. In addition, Lee County Sheriff's Office Investigators have linked Lowery to the sale of other stolen trailers that were being sold through Facebook Market Place. Lowery is currently being held at the Sumter County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. The investigation is still on going and anyone with information regarding Lowery is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at 803-484-5353.
