Arrest Made

Lee County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of Sumter County Sheriff's Office arrested Ashley Ardis, 42 YOA W/F for Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent value more than $10,000.00 as result of an investigation where Ardis was employed by a business in Lee County where she used company credit card(s) that were company entrusted her.  Ardis made personal purchases by defrauding the company for over $62,000.00 over an 18-month period. She was arrested on May 7, 2025, with the assistance from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, and was transported to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office Detention Center.

The investigation is on-going.
